Growing up, I’ve always had an eye for fashion. With a mother and grandmother that were both seamstresses, I was naturally drawn into the creative world of fashion. I remember the long hours wandering around fabric stores with my brothers while my mother looked at pattern after pattern. After learning the basics, I began hemming pants, sewing on buttons, and more. As I grew older, that eye for fashion developed into a love of suits and bow ties. As a result my skill transitioned into making bow ties.
Living in a worldwide pandemic, I’ve used my skills to create comfortable, breathable, and stylish masks. These masks are available in adult and children’s sizes. Wearing a mask to protect yourself and others should not be boring though. While staying safe, I also wanted to be stylish. I created several bow tie and mask combination sets with fun themes and custom designs for any occasion.
The very first bow tie I made was for my wedding. We simply could not find the perfect bow tie to match the bridal theme. Later I chose to make other bow ties for myself. So again, I would spend hours in the fabric stores. This time looking for the perfect fabric to create a bow tie for any occasion.
I have reached my goal of early retirement.
